I think Leonard Cohen should write some original songs for Dax to perform, actually. In a perfect world, this is a collaboration that would happen. Let Mr. Cohen write the melodies and lyrics, with input from Dax on the vocal lines, of course, and then let Dax loose on singing the hell out of the results...

To be totally honest, I love Dax's choice of covers, and the way he does them. He could pick whatever song he wants and I would eat it up.

I would like a bunch of new originals. I love the sound he has with Charley and Kevin now. I want to hear a whole CD of songs I have never heard before out of him, with the exception of Heart Awakes Screaming. That song must be on there.
