I've been listening to them for the last 45 minutes. I am happy as fuck.

Do you like any of the Michale Graves stuff? Danzig 'fits is what I'm into, but there are a couple Graves songs that I don't mind.

love all the danzig era. american psycho was actually kick ass too....the lyrics seemed sometimes more OPENLY "evil" I guess. I find it hard to compare, I love both eras.

I only got into Misfits as result of my kid. I'm very grateful. Love them now. I am old. I hadn't gotten into them before. Thought the logo was cool, but didn't pilfer the band shirt. BECAUSE YOU DON'T WEAR THE SHIRT IF YOU DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAND. Still own no Misfits gear. Anyways. Thanks, Deedle. My kid has turned me on to lots of good tunes. Cramps, too. Being old. Being old with a cool kid.
As for the Michale lead singer guy? It's okay. Just asked kiddo for a song I'd know from the other guy. Meh.

Good stuff.
It's been a while since I've listened to any of Graves songs.
Tonight, though...

Man I've been on a huge Misfits kick the past month or so, I forgot how fucking amazing their early albums are!
I never listened to Graves era misfits, I need to do that at some point.

I too really like The Misfits (77 - 83, Danzig era). I've amassed something close to 70 vinyls related to the Danzig era (a mix of official releases and bootlegs, in the form of both Lp's and singles), and about 15 cd's (including the boxset).
The shirts? I don't know.. I've stopped counting.
I was also lucky enough to find and purchase a mint copy of the Samhain boxset, still in shrinkwrap after all these years. I've chosen to keep it that way.

I've loved the 77-83 Misfits ever since I first heard them. Another thing I love is Misfits-related art. Really dig it. So I decided to take some pictures of some of my Misfits stuff (Lp's and singles). Just the cover artwork though. I couldn't be bothered to take pictures of the vinyls themselves, or the posters and lyric sheet inserts that are in some of them. Most of them are bootlegs, and most of you are probably familiar with these releases already, but I thought it'd be a fun thing to do regardless. Sorry about the poor quality of some of the photos.
