I have always loved this band, and outside of "Risk" I like everything they have put out...
Back when you had the Megadeth or Metallica fans...I was more into Megadeth, and still feal that way...

I never felt the need to choose. I love the lyrics of both, went to the shows of both of them.
Anyway, few years ago, I was in a record store and listened to Megadeth's new album before I'll buy him. I never bought it & I don't remember what was the name of the album. all I know is that I was so disapointed, I never bother to listen to the stuff they release after that..

I have never been a Megadeth fan. Dave's voice is not my cup of tea.

I love me some Megadeth! especially the old thrash albums, they're as good as any 80's thrash...actually, out of the 'big 4' thrash bands Megadeth is my fave. I did enjoy most of their 90's output, even a few tunes from Risk even though for the most part it was a sell-out suck ass record. Risk and The World Needs A Hero were the bands low-point but Dave has rebounded nicely with The System Has Failed, United Abominations, and Endgame. I"m really excited that David Ellefson is back in the band.

Comparing to James' "Hay, hay hayyy", Dave's voice sounds a bit weird. But it fit their lyrics perfectly ('Sweating Bullets' would be a good example).

I have all of them thru Youthanasia but haven't listened to them in a long time. I think that is the last one I bought. I have one cassatte tape in the player in my Envoy but it's been so long since I pressed play that I don't remember which tape it is!

Love me some Deth. I really enjoyed the stuff Poland did on The System Has Failed. A great comeback after the two not so great discs before. I've yet to listen to Endgame.

yeah that record SUCKED. I think it was the last one you and EVERYBODY ELSE bought. I did recently pick up the double-disc Anthology; all remastered...and it is a must have in the ol' arsenal.

I love megadeth. The wife doesn't, so I haven't really listened to them in years, other than some occasional videos on YouTube. Haven't heard the latest one yet.

I must be the only one, but I LOVE Youthanasia. Love it. It's possibly my favorite Megadeth album.

Nono, Bren, you're not alone. And Cryptic Writings was very cool too.
I gotta get Endgame soon. That Headcrusher track was kick-ass!
