not really, no. i give little gifts to ones i love throughout the year. if i see something i know that person X would appreciate, i pick it up for them and give it to them. my parents insist on giving me something, so last year i asked for some deadboy shirts. the year before it was gift cards to the gas station. i don't really do the whole gifty thing around the holidays. i don't like that a certain time of the year is designated as the proper time to give gifts to your loved ones.

earlier in the week i found a nice thermal shirt at old navy and i bought it for rob, just because i know he'd like it. he doesn't do the xmas thing either.
