We sing of only blood or love has alot of gems on it that still hold up for me. My favorite songs off that album are demon tied to a chair in my brain, radiation blues, ouroboros, living is suicide, forgot i was alive, dog-headed whore and deathbryte.

Overall i like say goodnight to the world the most out of his solo albums so far, and man i can't wait for his next one to come out!

Looking back at the past years, I think it's fair to say that "Didn't Know Yet..." has become my favorite Dax song. So yeah, because of that alone: Great album! I still think most songs could have used one more verse/chorus go-around each, but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are great songs.

wall of death might be the only song I regularly skip on that album

I always sing along to that one too.
I like the lyrics.

I like it alright. its a catchy tune. but it gets skipped more often than not
weakest song on the album in my opinion

i'd take black umbrella in its spot any day of the week

I like Wall of Death, but not as much as the other songs in the album, but it's OK since it's a cover.

I saw them about a week ago in Athens and they kicked some serious ass!!

As for the We only sing of blood album, I like that most of the songs are short and to the point.
I don't think all songs should necessarily have multiple choruses, bridges, etc...
Wall of death rocks hard from beginning to end.

Most of them should be clocking in more towards 3 mins imho. It's all between 1:40 and 2:40. That's okay for a punk band, but leaves me wanting more, when it's Dax.

nah, I agree. seeing him live/meeting the bro was kool in 05 and 06 for obvious reasons but yeah... after those early awesome acoustic boots in 04 I lost interest. "folk metal"??

I agree. I was disappointed with how short the songs are. I still love the album.
