if you listen to the 12-29-06, hes not saying "fierce as fire" hes clearly saying STREETS.....
and the lyrics the way you have them just dont make sense the first 3 lines with the 2nd one like that....

You're right regarding that live version, but the OP is right regarding the studio version.

I've always loved and respected the fact that Dax has so many versions to his songs. Each one with a slightly different vibe and personality. Nothing ever gets stale.

He did say thank you, and he went on talking about he hopes the different versions will show people they can make music too. He said more but that was the gist of it. Seemed like he took it as a big compliment. He didn't mumble though lol. When we've seen him he's been talkative. At the show where we met Kim, he was going on, and on, and we couldn't get a word in.   

Nice. I've talked to him a bit before but never had like, a real conversation with em.
